Greetings in the Name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord!

Jaya and I are back from India and are doing well. First of all I want to thank YOU for your fervent prayers and continued support for this ministry. Even though we were half way around the world, we felt your prayers. Your support and prayers had made it possible to minister literally to tens of thousands of Indian people. Several thousands of precious souls were added to the Kingdom of God. I will share a few of many wonderful things that God has done in this trip.

We left the U.S. on the 14th of January and arrived at Hope Ministries Headquarters at Mori on the 17th. Our Gospel meetings started on the 19th through 22nd at our headquarters. Every year we have been increasing the size of the pendal, but there wasn't enough room to accommodate the people. God sent a fresh Holy Spirit fire into our meetings and several thousand people came to know the Lord. Also, God healed many sick people. What a joy it was to see them go home different people!

Two young people, Matt and Kathi from Canton, Ohio, traveled with us to India. They came to teach in our English Medium School and they did a wonderful job teaching. At the same time shared the Love of Jesus with the students who come from Hindu families. Also, they attended Gospel meetings with us at nights. They were a blessing to our people and to the Kingdom of God. You may read an article from Kathi on page two of the newsletter.

The children in our homes are doing well and are very grateful to their sponsors for their loving support. I was glad to hear some of them are honor students and on their way to Colleges and careers. We thank you for making a difference in their lives.

Three Pastors, Dan Finfrock, Steve Miller and Brett Perrett, from California joined us on the last day of our Gospel meetings. They conducted one week of Inductive Bible Study in the same pendal where we held Gospel meetings. Over 250 pastors attended the seminar. The classes were conducted from 8:00 to 12:00 Noon. We had one-hour break for lunch.

At 1:00 p.m. they got back to the class to review their lessons. The class resumed at 2:00 and lasted until 5:00 p.m. This schedule continued all week long. Some of the pastors said that they attended other seminars before, but this one was different from others, they learned more. Now, we can see a difference in their ministry and the fruit is coming out. These Bible classes were a blessing to our pastors. We thank Pastor Dan and his team for a wonderful teaching.

After Dan and his team left, another team from Fort Walton Beach, Florida arrived on the 14th of March. Their names are Pastor Phil Loyd and his daughter Sarah, Pastor Mike Tomasulo and his wife, Lisa and Pastor Ozzie Bloxson. We conducted Hope Crusades at 4 different locations. (1) High Mill Children's Home in Sitarampuram, (2) Upper Room Children's Home in Eluru, (3) At one of our tribal ministry headquarters in Narsipatnam and (4) Community Life Children's Home in Vizag. Each place we conducted 3 nights of meetings. Hundreds of people attended each meeting to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. Some even traveled 30 - 40 miles to attend these crusades. In each and every meeting, the spirit of God used these pastors in a special way to bring forth His word. Literally hundreds of people stood up to give their lives to Jesus and many more people were healed of all kinds of sicknesses. Glory to God!

During this trip, Jaya got pregnant and it was a very happy time in our lives. Sadly, that happiness did not last long. Two months later, on June 2nd, we found out that she had a miscarriage. We were very saddened and devastated by the loss. It has been very hard on both of us especially Jaya. Please keep us in your prayers.
